Hey just checked out the reel just a couple of things. you may want to show the matte's and rotoshapes so that any employers can get a feel for how you work.

Also there are a couple of things that need adjusting for instance in the shrek shot the roto around fionas head is a bit wobbly try to get this more precise and also do some colour corrections so that the backgrounds match the characters better. The shot with the candle is good maybe try and add a reflection in the window if possible. I can see the reflection from the candle is there but its not very noticeable.

And one more thing try and scale the shots so that they are the same ratio, you should be able to scale them even if it means cropping some of them slightly.

hope this helps and good luck.

We have silhouette here at school, but have not had the chance to sit down and learn to use it...I assume it should not be that hard. I use AE for my roto. As for your shots, the fiona wobble is definetely there...and I can tell you have bezier points that are sliding along the edge...I tend to set my bezier points on noticeable areas so that I can set them precisely through the shot. For the hair shot...it looks harshly cut..you should roto the whole strand and motion blur your alpha. Still, for a shot like that I would just try getting a perfect key...then try and do roto on it if the key is not working out.
