going for a composting reel. Does the footage not suggest it?

The matix shots are extremely confusing.
You need to clearly label them as you have with the rest of the shot on the bottom left. It has the potential to piss some people off. It's a fine line you're on.

such as

"matix shot borrowed for personal learning project" or something similar.

Well for me not really. I saw a mixture of roles including 3d animation and lighting. Felt more jack of all trades ... with no standout comp shots

But its not difficult to put a strap line under you name saying "compositor". Would someone in HR be able to recognise this as a compositor reel? I doubt it

Your blacks also need matching in the Matrix shot.

No it's not, it fine to have it there. Just label it correctly as you have done with the rest of the shots before it.

Well your first shot is a turntable of a robot. How about you change the order to suit compositing.

unfortunately that's the catch22 problem with junior reels. I take it you have an adversion to doing roto (don't blame you)

The Matrix shot is perhaps the most interesting so i would keep it (label it as a personal project)

The Hudd display and the sky replacement are stronger. Perhaps if you do a 'real life' comp with the robot that would be better than how it is now.

Personally i would remove the iron man tracking shot. Thats the weakest shot and it drags the others down.

well i started a live 2d to 3d conversion. so that had lots of roto work on it. just didnt get it done in time.
ive also started on a monster comp'd into a live plate. But that wont be done till another 2 weeks hopefully less

i do agree with the iron giant...will shoot some live footage and integrate him as soon as possible.
will properly label the matrix shot, and fix certain issues with it.
will try to get the live 2d to 3d conversion done asap
i was also thinking of doing a day to night shot

as far as order move hud display and sky replacement to front?
